Wisła w Wyszogrodzie and in Kępa Polskie below warning conditions – icebreakers at Włocławski Tank

The Vistula in Wyszogrodzie and in Kępa Polska fell below warning conditions. The river also sank in Płock, reaching levels below alert states, and in places of warning. According to the Polish Waters, the icebreakers will work again on the Vistula Włocławski Tank on Sunday.

"Today, icebreakers will continue their action on the Middle Vistula. 5 units will be tasked with patrolling and harassing the gutter on the Dobrzyń section – Duninów and Duninów section – Po paid and near the caves on the Włocławek water stage" - said Polish Waters on Sunday morning.

At that time, the Vistula level in Wyszogrodzie was 465 cm, which is already 35 cm below the warning condition, at 550 cm alarm condition, and in the Polish Vulture 424 cm, or 26 cm below the warning condition, at 500 cm alert condition.

Also in Płock, the Vistula level fell significantly. The states of water at the water pointers, as stated on Sunday morning by the City Council, "have reached a level below alert states, and in places also below warning states."

According to the City Emergency Management Centre in Płock, on Sunday morning the level of the river was at individual water indications: Grabger 261 cm (warning condition 275 cm, emergency condition 340 cm), Borrowers – 258 cm (warning condition 315 cm, emergency condition 345 cm), flood gate in Radzicie port, in the left-hand part of the city – 230 cm (warning condition 207 cm, emergency condition 237 cm) and on the PKN Orlen wharf – 670 cm (warning condition 670 cm, emergency condition 700 cm).

Płock still has a flood alarm announced on February 8. It was introduced due to an ice congestion on the Vistula below the city. There is also a flood alarm announced on 10 February in the seven municipalities of the district of Płocki located on the Vistula river: Wyszogród, Gąbin, Mała Wiś, Słupno, Bodzani, Nowy Duninów and Słubice.

On Saturday the icebreakers of the Polish Waters broke the ice congestion in the middle run of the Vistula River between Dobrzykow and Kępa Polska.
