Zelenski: Russians are preparing to bomb Odessa

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski said on Sunday that Russian forces are preparing to bomb Odessa, a historic city and a strategic port on the Black Sea. He condemned the potential "historical crime" in this city, where refugees are now gathering.
In the video, Zelenski said, "Russians always came to Odessa and felt only warmth and sincerity" in this almost a million-dollar city, very popular with tourists.
"What is it now? Odessa bombs? Artillery for Odessa? Missiles on Odessa?" asked the outraged president of Ukraine.
Despite many anti-aircraft alarms, the city has not yet been the target of Russian attacks. However, like every great Ukrainian city, on Sunday – on the 11th day of the Russian invasion, Odessa was preparing to defend herself by blocking the main access roads and the population was preparing shelters," writes AFP.
"As you can see, the city is empty, everyone is home. This (attack) can happen at any moment (...)" said Mikhail Szmuszkikovich, Odessa's vice-mer.
